design removes a lot of the metal instead of just the glass. The density of CF ~2.15-2.25g/cc, while glass is 2.54g/cc. I'm no CF expert, but typically the "pretty" CFs have a large %age of 'other' additives (heavier additives) anyway. Now, from a SAFETY point of view, I see good merit for a track event using your t-tops. I usually take mine out, as all the events I've attended thus far allow it, but I'm sure the drag overtakes the savings in weight. SS
